It's a good poem, but it appeares to be...twice. Look on your page, and you will find it again....
Best wishes!

first of all, i won't even bother to look at the naive rhymes and the defectuos dealing within the subject of this poem.
but what is this:
"do I join the savage men?" It is a craze.", "Am I trapped inside somebody´s mouth", "Muddy, with an axe in his hand" etc ???!?!
i mean, is this trying to be funny? because if you think that anyone with a good sense of reality will take these highschool burnouts serious than you are mistaking.

here's an advice: try and stick to spanish. i don;t understand it but i presume that it canot possibly be any much more worse than this. it may as well be that english is a much too greater challenge for you.

Dear Alex,

In addition I consider your comments as racists, when you post something like "burrrito english" on my poem "Wild Trip".
You are not focusing on objective aspects of poetry but on racist aspects.

you are way off, mr. trejos!
let me tell you a little story.
back in school, from the 5th to the 8th grade i had the advantage of being in an advanced english class. there we had as many as 8hrs of english per week. we had two teachers, only in english.
the city i live in is situated on a river called somesh. anyway, why am i telling you all this? well, because every time one of us made a mistake in proper english use that strict bitchy teacher would yell at us "somesh english!" and make us sit down. well, perhaps now you understand why i called your english "burrrito english".
it just might be that she had higher standards for us, as her pupils, in english use and comprehension.
and when you come with texts as poor as the ones i've read, well, then i think you ought to stick to your mother tongue, as you put yourself in a ridiculos position by posting poems in a language that you don't master.

and careful next time when you point the finger. it may easily get broken.

best of luck to you, gringo.

This seems a kind of wicked joke and I`m going to end it now but first I will point out some considerations:
1. I am not Mexican, I have never eaten "burritos". Nothing bad about my Mexican brothers and "burritos".
2. I was born in Panama City.
3. My grandfather worked for U.S.A. Government 70 years ago. My dad studied in Canada nearly 40 years ago.
4. I`ve been writing Poetry in English for more than 20 years now.
5. FYI, I scored 605 in the TOEFL Exam to be admitted at my Master Degree in Literary Writing.
6. I have been included in more than one Anthology of Native English Writers (Poets).
7. I have been humble enough to display this information only now that you have come with those comments.

People should look themselves in a mirror before throwing a boomerang.

END OF DISCUSSION.

SONGO.-

P.s. Thanks Moustapha, yeah, Forgiveness is the Law that allows us to move forward and this business is closed.

Now this is very interesting Songo… you call Alex a racist and even complain to the “headmaster”... yet you say nothing at all when Dennis utters a homophobic comment. More than this… you thank him. Very nice… indeed.

Dear Dan,

You are right. Dennis´ comment was sexist, discriminating and homophobic.
Please, let us keep the debate "pro" and tolerant.
Cheers to you all poets!

P.s. It seems I didn´t close the discussion right. oops! sorry again
