| Your poem instantly reminded me of Joy Division's "She's lost control". "She walked upon the edge of no escape / And laughed I've lost control". But here "she" seems to be beyond struggle and the need for others to rescue or spectate her. Being scarred has become her personal environment. All she wants is perhaps to keep it friendly and peaceful. Which is even more tragic than being consumed with it, because it implies abdication. At least this is how I read it.
