I do not know why many times solitude is directly connected with the drink. Mixed drinks are not good for the brain and the body itself as well. I see this kind of connection for a period of time quite short when reality is dissolved and the pain and hardships are lighter than before. Hope you're not experimenting what you expressed above, because I have experimented before and it was for no use to me, more than that attracts antipathy from the beloved ones.

Cheers Chris!

...of love, this is certainly good and recognizably written,
Chris! In the second last stanza you try to pull yourself together and soldier on. That makes, thank God, a whole lot of difference to a large number of other contributions on this site!
Cheers from Willy

thank you irene...glad to see you writing i wondered how long before you could not resist anymore ...this is a fantastic outlet for your life and feelings to be expressed in such a thereputic way such as writing...anyone can write poetry but life experience puts the visual element into your work...to also be poetic with words is a whole new ball game you have either got it or you have not...that's where the natural talent comes in...
