...this was a beautiful reminder; when life is concerned we are talking about a brief moment. That goes for man as well as butterfly. Cheers from Willy

butterflies are the bohemian dying strangers of our cities. Always a pleasure, John.

Very nice and interesting depiction of cities from a closer micro view! I like very much the stoning imagery, visual effects suggested, created here. Different perspective for space and time. Well done Dan! Best wishes, Marius

I wanted to finish the poem with the title. But then I changed my mind. Thought it would make a lot more sense this way. That's why it ends ...abruptly, just like a broken song. I think the text deals with let's say the overwhelming urban ghosts of steel and concrete :) Sunday I saw a butterfly, hitting the windows of shops, banks and a bookstore :) and then moving on into the sun. That's when I felt like a stranger. I mean it's definitely not "our" world. This one... this man made horror show. This city. But still, it's not its world either. Somehow, we were both stranded in time & space. And then I thought... well since it's autumn, and the nights are cold, "this" butterfly will definitely die in a couple of hours. So, that's the story.

to discover this side of you, Mr Dan Marius. Changing gears on the rage machine? Softening up a bit? Waiting for some more of this... me like it a lot
