what a beauty! such a simple and elegant thought on what lies beneath...'Without the bitter there ain't no sweet'

Oh, Messieur Willy, you have my admiration for this one!

Regards,
Corina

It's certainly wondrous how incongruous art is related to reality. In the western European middle ages (Not necessarily in Constantinople) only the Jews upheld a reasonable sanitary standard. In that filth and stench the very concept of romantic love was invented (anew?). Fascinating, anyway.

Exactly Willy, leaving behind the humour that escaped through these lines, that kind of specific middle ages are to be found here well depicted. Very visual - I almost imagined those dirty people, with the rotting teeth laughing or being just sad.

The French final is very elegant with contrast for their wear and health as well.

I like it!

Best wishes,
Marius

...to the french troubadours who went before us and made flowers bloom in the dirt! Thank you very much for your appreciation of my humor and my depiction of the setting.

A bit of Villon, a bit of Baudelaire but with a new approach...

...how culture thrives under the very worst conditions, Horia?
So cool that you mention bot Villon and Baudelaire. Where would Dylan be without the french poets? Thanks a lot for your comment.
Cheers from Willy
