all the makings of a great poem: masterful use of literary paraphernalia, tastefully alluding to contemporary angst.
behind it all, the bigger questions, more or less unanswered, provide polyphony for a meditation on the human condition and "the little things" we do to avoid dealing with it.
just the opening put me off a little, it's kind of a little self centered joke that i don't see fitting in with the rest
in short, it's a mature poem, perfect blend of technical resources and artistic sensibility

welcome back :) well the beginning put me off too :) and it is a joke. my joke. let's say : the joke I am in. It is a slight " personal" touch that I wish I could have erased.
I don't know if it is written with artistic sensibility, but it is above all... honest. Thanks for your visit. Always an honor.

must be sky-wide. there is a great deal we learn from death. with patience, there's life after death. and hey, who doesn't need a bit of humor in their lives.

loved the first two lines. smart. "there is always something happening", says Socrates. but hey, some people want to see the truth sparkling like a diamond, when the truth is only a rock. it is THE rock.

beautiful!

yes. sky wide like black rainbows. I'm one who likes things explained. Properly. Hence the need to breathe. And stop breathing.

loved this, went straight to the heart.

(I don't feel like saying anything else about it; I'd only alter a perfect feeling somehow)
