SO raw the last few lines of this poem carry so much intensity they made my eyes narrow at the edges. I wonder if it is sorrow that makes one not want to be born. Is it that we carry the weight of Sisif and we recklessly give ourselves away with every single person we meet? It is when we are at our lowest point that we feel purified almost like Christ did on the cross. I love the way you put these images together.

Thank you Georgiana for your king thoughts.
As you've seen the poem was written having Solomon and Job in mind, but here's me in it, way too often.
I hate so much value passing by through this world, with the band-wagon of hypocrits praising only when the suffering Jobs are allready departed...
I wish the Good Lord would truly purify me through my own ordeals.

Thanks again.

Somewhere between a raw reality and a lucid wisdom, I stand by your poem... Deep and so human, neat and also warm.

Hope you are doing fine Poet

So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.

He had also seven sons and three daughters.

And so you see, there's obviously hope for old Job's.
A good and sincere poem, Romulus!

Cheers from Willy
