This is an article very “tuned in” with the season. It was also probably written in the rush to buy a Christmas gift. Please make the following corrections:

Line 3: continuous instead of continous
Line 6: frantically instead of franatically
Line 8: appropriate instead of apropriate
Line 13: beginning instead of begining
Next to last paragraph: grandfather instead of granfather

Last paragraph: definitely instead of deffinitely
can’t instead of cann’t
happiness instead of happinness
every time (separate) instead of everytime

Iuliana,

I see you corrected this article and re-posted it with the star and comment from Radu but without my comment. I don’t think this is the right thing to do and I will explain why: Maybe you didn’t realize but by doing this you nullified my comment and hence my contribution to your text and to this site. In all fairness I think that if you chose to correct and re-post your text, you should have either:
1. Kept your text with the star and Radu’s comment but also with my comment
2. Retract your text permanently or post it separately with no star and no comments

By re-posting it only with the comment that you liked you arbitrarily took advantage of your level to keep the positive comments, erase the others and pretend nothing happened. This is not right. You should at least acknowledge other people’s contribution in helping you write a better text. This is how you earn their respect and set a positive example for others to follow.

And by the way, you still haven’t corrected one thing; is grandfather not granfather.

Kurt, I apologize for erasing your comment but it wasn't because of "double stadards" as you've mentioned but because I've seen other editors do that with comments that contained only corrections. Since I am fairly new around here,I thought that after a text is corrected there is no point in keeping up the comment. I was wrong it seems and I apologize to you, therefore I put back your initial comment to my text. I thank you for your constructive criticism (especially with the spelling mistakes)even if I do not appreciate the sarcasm in "this article was probably written in the rush to buy a Christmas gift" Believe it or not, it takes some time to write an article and you making fun of that doesn't help me in any way.

Iuliana,

Thank you for your follow-up comment and for fixing what needed to be fixed. I want to assure you that I wasn’t trying to be sarcastic, it just seemed that your text had a disproportionate amount of “typos”, so I tried to connect my comment with the title and theme of your article.
