| i've read many of your poems and liked most if not all. you seem to have a certain obsession with the image of the raven. i must state that it didn't seem to appeal to me until i read this poem. it is simply beautiful, somewhat naive and, yet, very mature. it's images are illusive, like wounds that bleed still, like broken wings that will not dream of flight. i especially loved: "the night was bittersweet, buried in your eyes like a disease." i will confess once more, this poem simply swept me off my feet. p.s. maybe we could start that band together. :) | |
