From what I see, this is your first poem posted here, a fine one, melodious and rhymed. I liked it. So, I am welcoming you warmly and would like to see more of you, as an author and as a commentator. If you read and comment other’s work you will become a “commentee” and I think this facility is what people like the most on our site. Good luck and don’t be shy!

thank you for your comment, and I will certainly take your advice and publish more. I happen to be a little tied up at the moment. And I am especially grateful for you filling me in on the "commentee" procedure.

Sorry, I see now that I made a mistake in my comment. I must reformulate what I hastily wrote. So, if you read and comment what other authors have published on this site, they will visit your works in return and leave messages, and that will make you a "commentee". One may find it very useful, especially when English is one’s second language.

The idea of choosing the word "Silence" as a title for this poem is a good thing. Silence is the only one that can clear your thoughts, that can make your prayers come alive, that can get you close or throw you away from divinity. The fact that you perceived the meaning of silence impresses me.
