Independence- this is all I required
A part of my life that would stay hidden from you
For my sanity
Though there was nothing to hide, I just needed a drawer
And you could not provide me that.
You still live in the past
You cannot improve if nothing else is changed
Its high time you let go and move on.
I have outgrown you darling
I have outgrown myself
It is impossible for me to understand that you stayed put.
Cut the unusual umbilical cord like I cut mine long ago
Set yourself free honey for you are forgiven.
Like a tree that changes its leafs when the autumn comes
Change your path.
