Springtime once again –
even the ancien scare-crow
resurrects once more
*
Changing weather.
in the straw-man’s shabby heat
a new sparrow nest
*
After the tempest
a needlewoman wanted
for the bogy men
*
The wind is rising
the lap of the scare-crow’s skirt...
what a seducer!
*
Sunday in the fielld,
the ramshackle bird-scarer
still wearing its rags
*
Nuts harvesting time.
under the scare-crow’s regard
a swift red squirrel
*
Bitter tears streaming
from the scare-crow’s gloomy eyes:
the autumn’s rainfall
