she still has inflammable words
although the crickets of her mind jump whistling
over sharp edges of thoughts
she hasn’t yet transcribed her feelings
into a manual of senses with unique usage

the image in the rear view mirror
of a petrified heart with severed artery_arms
does not suit her at all
and this alikeness to Venus de Milo is annoying

despite the frost that concretely alienates
she chooses to remain a visionary woman
incinerating evanescent dreams
and free rhyme in poems

in a town dwelled by formal statues
communicating what is politically correct
she kindles the imminent winter horizon
with a handful of matches
