A wildflower grows and radiates
Multihued vibrant shades That paint a landscape Tinted like a lyrical collage Free to grow and flourish In her glory, her scent a mishmash Of perfumes that seduce And Entice all that embrace Her unique place That is not adulterated By the desire to make A more perfect fabrication To control and shape A perfect handiwork of nature Is to destroy her identity And forever lose her true beauty Like any gift of nature's bloom That man decides to consume The wildflower either wilts and dies Or directs itself in a way that belies All attempts to tame or contain Or possess its essence of spontaneity
