There are many Ariadnas
(at least a pair of twin sisters) Lost among the nerved labyrinth provided by the fallen leaf. They gracefully dance, (one displaying her wrists, the other her ankles) at the same time competing in a strange game, the stake of which will determine the fate of their present home: Staying into a never-ending Mantuan summer or going to decay into the approaching damp autumn. As the dances unfolds, it’s impossible to know Which one of them has gambled summer And which has gambled autumn too.
