I try not to cry, the wind cried the news, I put a brave face and just sing along the dying dog's blues.
He loves bright and pure, as I hate when he scatters on floors all his fur, heís always a friend, his eyes never have to pretend.
He feels with my palms, as I feel with his paws, Iím calling his name, he barks and thereís always a smile on his tail.
He lives in my soul, me, beyond his close eyes, Iím sometimes a light and sometimes a shadow not kind.
He runs in my heart, me, inside all his dreams in the night, I donít want to stop, he snores and I walk and I walk and I walkÖ
Maybe tonight Iíll embrace all the sorrow, the undying miss, the sadder tomorrow. And cry myself out. For sure this will happen tonight!
