It was freezing the night I got lost in the dark,
When I opened my eyes and looked up,
I saw a bright moon on a starry sky,
I could see nothing ahead, it was pitch black,
Like I was the last human being left.
I kept on cutting through the thick darkness,
Strong wind hitting my face as I started running,
I no longer felt the sharp cold in my bones,
As blood rushed throughout my entire body,
I welcomed the heat reminding me I can breathe.
I spread out my arms and started flying,
Guided by the moon, I reached for the stars,
I plunged ahead full speed with no fears,
Now I am surrounded by the brightest light,
And I look down at the darkness below me,
It was freezing the night I was found...
