the woman who gave me life
every time I think of her
struggling to remember/her face
eyes full of sorrow
beauty must have distorted
thy laughter/ echoes in my ears
how was i clinging to her…
every time I was frightened
never forgotten those days/nights…
when dragged by you
to the safety
every time the sirens wailed
black-out! hide!
hated it
screams, yells…
that’s all I can remember.
