While the red moon started waxing
I was laying on thy bed; Shadows of the night were dancing Round the candles by your bed. And as time was passing slowly Weariness grew in my head. In his arms I yielded wholly- Morpheus, was called the the led. “Child, he said, your eyes are mortal But thy mind can see forever. Be aware of what will happen,” And he opened up a portal. Frenting folk were fiery dancing… Witches, wizards wily hexing… Tragic jesters jolly joking… At the zenith he was passing Everyone than stopped from dancing Stopped from joking and stopped hexing. He came nearer, he came nearer In his eyes there was my mirror. In the mirror of his eyes On a bed of velvet red There the maiden naked lays- In her dream away she flies – Cold his breath touches her sweet. “Beauty, woman, is thy name! Thou shall be and live forever, In my garden be my briar! Mortal being-you’re my fire!” Eyes of copper, words of gold, Ravings of a raven’s heart - He, the prince, he wrung my heart While the red moon started waining I was resting in thy bed; There were no more shadows dancing Round the candles by your bed…
