From a visit to Canada in the summer of 78
___________________________________________ In Kelowna, British Columbia, my girlfriend and I were made aware of the parade on "Scandinavian Day." Soon the carts came a'rollin. On board you could watch blond maidens and gents in steel helmets all adorned with them big horns that Wagner invented for his operas. I could barely keep from laughing out loud and why, indeed, didn't I? Whenever we're abroad those delirious, bloodthirsty barbarians keep following us around, though we're at least nine hundred years apart. This morning it struck me. Romanians participating in similar events... ...do they wear Dracula masks and capes?
