I am so much a part
of this turmoil that drains
the essence of my being
far into the chaotic stain
Of many a long lost dream.
I seem to be a watcher
seeing my life play
between the make believe identifies
all part and parcel -myself
Little elemental characters that
upon the moments whim fly
Hold their say, bow then leave
All the while it seems
They forget the main character
Till like a drifting film set
it all fades from my view
Eagerly changing my channels
grasping hold of any connection
Of where I am now.
