How many of us have really listened
to those prophetic voices uncovering imperial arrogance and exhibitions of aggressive militarism, insidious authoritarianism and ways to revitalize democratic tradition? So often we fail to foster peace, hardly knowing how to swim within troubled waters, racism, religion extremists and imperialist corruption... How many of us are really ready and willing to talk about peace? How many of us are tired of pseudo-optimism, exhausted by inevitable psychic pain prevalent within a fragmented, syncopated and way too materialistic society? How many of us are willing to make a commitment NOW to plant hundreds of seeds and trees of peace, equality and hope? MAY PEACE BE THE WAY TODAY, AND THE DAY AFTER, AND THE DAY AFTER...
