EVERBURNING
by Sorana Lucia Salomeia To revive from your own ashes Like a Phoenix After burning in the flames Of your own passing Is, indeed, an extraordinary matter. No mater how many tempests May over flood your existence With grief, dirt and despondency, No matter how many disasters May try to divert you from your way, You have the duty To keep the coals inside your heart Burning, Keep the sparks alive And turn it into a flame again. Your heart – a crown of ever burning flames, Your body – the ruin of a temple of marble, But as the flame burns everything down to ashes, It also brings rebirth into the core of death.
