i live in a room
full of green exit signs neon-lit promises of transcendence oozing impatience as if my life was the most insecure place in the universe and I’d have to go right away. but i greet their over-parenting with indifference writing a few poems every few years self-absorbed like a sealed bottle garden breathing the memory of air spacing infinity with my silence -
