The wind blows
Through the poppy fields They bowed before him Like the whole field of red flowers Before the sun at midday He left and I went to search for him The sun and the moon Kept me company And sometimes a red poppy Here and there By the road And on old, abandoned railways I sailed among the Mermaids I copied in photoshop In Copenhagen I spent time with Calypso As she sat next to me In a café In the old town centre Asking me to serve her With some breakfast As she kept purring And then sat in my lap As I stroke her fur Got lost through Hades As I went past A park in Vienna Where they had built A labyrinth From a live fence Then spotted Scylla and Carybdis as I was getting lost On a map With no gps He had long ago set sail Polyphemus told me I wondered through the streets of Dublin Then returned home. He had been waiting for me For a long while.
