I’ve learned to see the light
in every small corner of the day. The rays dancing on the floor, the wind whispering that I’m alive. I no longer search for answers in the distance, but in this moment, where my heart beats the loudest. I find myself in a child’s laughter, in the song of birds unafraid to soar. Once, I thought happiness was something to earn, but now I know it’s already here, in every breath, in every step taken with courage. I’m pieces of a greater whole, but each piece shines. And even if the road still holds shadows, my light is enough to chase them away.
