Our Mary Lou

Her smile was always warm and true
her outlook always bright
yes, that was her, our Mary Lou
our star, our heaven’s light

She made us feel so loved each day
her kind heart touched us all
and even though she wanted to stay
she had to answer God’s call

She would have fed the world it seemed
one big meal at a time
