If I had made the sky,
I would have coloured it blue too, the trees and leaves green too, but the earth, I would have coloured it white, so that I may never see the mud, the blood, the ash... I would have made it out of geometric shapes disguised in air and water… We could have swum like fish, we could have flown like birds… If I had made the angels, I wouldn’t have made them invisible; I would have had the joy to look at them, to talk to them, I would have had someone’s lap to cry into. His hand would have caressed my leaned head… Oh, God, don’t mind ! If I had made the earth, the angels…
