I am nothing more than a piece of stone
shaped by the countless rivers I’ve flown with. By the fire, women would use me to crush the grains and bake the bread that feeds the tribe, men would use me to sharpen their weapons when they leave hunting… Thrown at the enemy during the war I can still feel the blood I’ve shed even if waters have washed me over and over until people buried me to serve as a foundation for their new city. Then you came. I am nothing more than a wish never coming true again…
