A heart of glass


One more year, many a fight,
tears and sleepless nights
another piece broke off this heart,
fragile glass cannot mend,
the tired soul too stiff to bend,
shattered strangers gather dust
neatly in a corner of hell, while
all the fragments are growing,
hope and faith wait… knowing
that one day the must
sweep away the broken glass
