This wave seems to lead me now
To the place of Nevermore
The place where I will find...
Where I will find my lost Lenore.

I divide the night in search for love
And myst guides me out of sorrow
I will soon open the door
To the heart of my Lenore.

Quoth the raven:"Nevermore."

Come night,come light,
Let days pass in my sight,
Come on free me of my wits,
Let the demons my mind twist.

Lenore...oh but now I hear you
Beyond the velvet drape of sin,
I behold that you are drowning,
I hear you screaming from within.

How can I stare and still not see you?
How can I try not to listen and to hear you?
How can I help you if you are only in my mind?
And my wits are insane if not crazy or blind.

I am not a cosmic sailor and I am not insane
And it feels like bleeding when I call your name
But that is only for my heart to know
That pain is a part of me and it cannot go.

And the raven tapping at my chamber door
Gently rapping on the gates of Nevermore
Tapping a little louder than before
But darkness there and no Lenore.

There is no answer for my thoughts
Saved in questions in my head
Neither Death nor Life can guide me,
Only the words that I have said.

I lost my love and didn't search it
I lost it down in Nevermore
And I written down these thougts
For the rare and radiant maiden
Whom the angels name Lenore
