Beware
Beware dearest daughter, Beware of the silent ones, The beautiful ones Cause now they are all but whispers Tangled within the agony of time. My beautiful broken doll. Thy song dwells and still enchants my ears. Thy sweet ballet created my flight. I read in your eyes eternity. On thy porcelain skin, ardent lust is caught in frightened glass, now shattered into a thousand tiny fragments of lifeless beauty. The pale orchid stands like a cross upon thy chest. Our broken dreams. Beware, dearest daughter, Even in death, she sings her song of sorrow And laugh at the mockery and irony of faith Cause she stands no-one as she daces hand-in-hand with thee The innocence that her eyes define, weeping for the youth She turns our quiver into miserable smile A smile which to me…reflects only a mask A mask which my face can no longer hold Beware dearest daughter, Beware of the silent ones Beware dearest daughter for they are colours, Lasting only a night.
