that's everyone we could find "get in! shut the door!" the mousy woman yelled as i was creeping in. a metaphor. an as she threw me out the door, offended, cursing at my metaphor, i crept a smile and yelled back "that's everyone we could find! thank you!" II=III perfect day still more than once when idols fall to the floor, we hide and curse black cats behind doors, and search for heroes. only lovers may live this perfect day and bless the gift for there is still such beauty in this world III=II i will be king for once, before this dawn fades to a grey, i gave a notice to a lovely girl and we kissed, and once the stars came out one night while i became her hero and softly sang: and you will be queen... IV=I i sold no such thing the softman came in as a friend, wellspoken, few bad habits, lotsa charm and quite the stare! behold, my petty salesman, door-to-door, this vacuum cleaner ain't worth no future payments, i'm paying with my soul: i sold no such thing!
