(About Artificial Intelligence)

In a world heavy with codes and dazzling algorithms,
Today came artificial intelligence upon us.
We see it growing rich in forces like thousands of suns:
Its minds are of silicon, yet filled with swarms of data!

In a way, it frightens us through speeds and interweavings,
Being an amalgam of forces that can simultaneously birth
Almost anything in time we created through effort and long toils,
Even replacements in the arts or in titan techniques...

For this intelligence will create works in series:
Symphonies, superb choirs, many oratories besides,
Equalling Mozart, Verdi, Rossini, or Shakespeare,
Striving for quality and value to be as high as possible.

And the new intelligence we call artificial,
Is involved in all matters, including paintings, sculptures,
So that, for a while now, have been unveiled
Canvases akin to Da Vinci or even Michelangelo's doubles...

Digital displays are multiplying with vibrant animations,
With dancing lights, pixel-generated music in stock,
Coming from a new world generating new strange states
Which, while surprising some, many would call a false baroque!

But will we ever see a machine truly crying?
Can it feel any pain like you do?
Or laugh, love, dream of the Holy Sky?
Can cold algorithms feel sorrow? I assure you, certainly not!

True, it may imitate—with mechanical movements—
And that's why philosophers seriously ask:
Is there room for us in a world that changes to new horizons?
Or, in the descending night, will we be the shadows below?...

Is the science we created a hidden suicide?
Let us hope not, and then maybe it is a divine act.
And if there's no race, it's already a secret understood
And we worry in vain. So let's fully continue!

In the end, it's not about sad replacements,
But new collaborations, human-machine in union.
Thus we fantastically progress toward splendid fulfillments,
To recreate together an empire of love.
