Chilly drizzle,
air-penetrating,
wild lashes
with wet whips,
window-knocking anger,
staring at me with soaking eyes
indifferently -
continuous, endless fall –
noisy pest invading my space,
bringer of life,
punisher,
colourless, tasteless –
reaper and saviour,
I sit here, safe and dry –
watching you
