I crave for a newborn eye to proofread the coming winter:
simple possibility of seeing the star.
Unable to foretell the unseen,
I trust the unworthy.
Prophecies of the emptiness arouse.
Fast forward to the staggered shouts of the children
I cannot be patient!
Unleashed November sweeping saddened flesh and bones:
somebody else tracing
my wounded nights,
another womanís silvered tongue
whispering the good night lullaby,
another loverís hands caressing...
Donít count on these fading stars
- blameless wrecks of the universe!
We never stop.
Feeble is the blood dripping on the bathroomís floor.
I ask for a tender denial.
Show me the white hyacinth!
Blindness all over.
Just a slant of untamed beauty clasping decay.
Nameless, unsung light reaching the fearful:
Iím celebrating the visible rags,
unconcealed witness of the homeless.
Give me a lion skin to wrap my waist
and a heavenly shield to endure!
I trail the unharmed voice of Hamada.
I will follow.
