Born October 28, 1933 in Petrich.
Evtim Evtimov is a Bulgarian poet, author of some of the most beautiful love poems.
Graduate of the Institute for Elementary School Teachers in Petrich.
Former teacher, program director of the Petrich radio, secretary of the local community centre, head of "Poetry" section and director of "People's Youth" Publishing House, deputy editor-in-chief of "Flame" magazine, editor-in-chief of "Literary Front" newspaper and of "Patriotism" magazine.
Author of the poetry books "Awake Eyelids", "Pirin Ballads", "Love for Love", "A Poem for Bulgaria", "Bulgarian Land", "Bitter Wine" and of the novel "Was It All for That".
His poetry gave birth to hundreds of songs, some of them becoming Bulgarian classics.
