Age is not a death sentence

It's legitimate to want to grow up fast,
it's good to want to achieve dreams,
it's humane to be nostalgic

from the tenderness of infancy,
from the ardour of youthfulness,

age represents the route we've covered
which is nothing else than figure stiks
on birth certificate,

neither complete experience of life
nor full knowledge nor wisdom,

as finger differs in height,
our route won't be the same,
a little bird told me.
