ICON…
by Sorana Lucia Salomeia Buds filled with sap And clothed in morning dew Send kisses through the Warm embrace of the early sun-beams. And their kisses take wings, They fly towards the clear horizon, Awakening forgotten icons of a Bygone feeling In my mind. The old, grand love Awakens inside this wandering soul. That moment – Oh, what supremacy enwrapped it! These are the killing thrills Of the sweet, sensual loving – My sweet, sensual loving, The dark, painful remorse Of a self – destructive love. A war between ideals and reality, A sad episode from the race towards A supreme ideal. A calm wind caresses my senses While the warm summer beams Awake sweet, but inexistent kisses, Enchanting verses enwrapped inside Alien feelings. And my soul keeps dreaming On a summer cloud… Copyrighted © Sorana Salomeia, Iasi, Romania, 2004
