Origins
The end drips into rain criss-crossing the time that flees mixing through the river with an acid flavour, bitter I drown myself I lose myself The moon lighting up my night a light streaming my lone session my relentless progression advancing towards the sea I concede I inveterate I rediscover myself here in the sunset, I’m infatuated and I return where recently the breast of a cloud was my nest I receive I liberate A spring accumulates from snow, rain, hail The scent of the wind softens itself on this sinuous sail a modest chronic of my life I say I write Love, passion, fire, burns in tremors sensations under this feeble sun push into the future pointless flavors I exhilarate I dare The surviving waves of yesterday emerging from one painful winter My origins treacherously inflated my perceptions laid bare My soul’s desires dissipate the mist without nibbling on the remains of them Veroflame April 28, 2005
