broken momentum. pause: look back.
re.live the past and breathe-in scent of fog, forgive and acknowledge defeat. hang around the gutter and listen to running water, drains and sewer depths. no-one understands. so much for blindness. you could say i let the holes break in you could say i let myself be broken by my own fury you could say i let the music become less than noise and then we came along in snowdrops rolling on the mud-wet ground and smelling of last summers grass. the kennels made of bones and our own chains projecting what has come to resemble self mutilation. break back and preserve the sensation. i know better than anyone that none of this is what seems. it is much simpler than that. hunger and starve, so silent the sentence and the jury. the flesh that burns, move it to the outer limits and see yourself blank i feel it too i feel it like a lie like they are trying us so hard to make us believe what cannot be comprehended. this is a moment to kill and to embrace, anything resembling movement, you know, static makes us behave like marionettes too many pasts all hanging around as if no earth is soft enough to burry them.
