Membru al Societății Junimea. Diplomat.
Ministru de Externe( 1920-1921)
Poeme de ținută neoclasică ( Alte orizonturi, Imne păgâne ).
Se impune prin romane de observație socială ( primul roman-ciclu din literatura română : Viața la țară, Tănase Scatiu, În război, Îndreptări, Anna ).
